Challenges No. 147, "Double I" Regis Fauconnier: the crisis benefits the Junior-Enterprise. Looking for savings, big companies outsource to students from leading business schools audits and surveys they commanded before the big firms have become too expensive. Result, the largest Junior Company of Europe, that of ESSEC, experienced a 20% increase in 2007 with a budget of 1.5 million euros. We expect a larger increase still on record in 2008. Same story in another school not named with the Junior Company presents itself as "subcontracting" of the big consultancies. This is a win both ways!
Do not forget the list of motivating factors for oral!

Emmanuel Parisse (promo 08) writes of ESC Clermont
Already first thing I'm very happy to be where I am today. I finally have my independence. I never expected to be successful in this school who, admittedly, has many qualities. Indeed, it is accredited AACSB, EQUIS poised to have a director who comes from the ESC Toulouse ... Anyway, the important thing is that students choose a school where they feel good and that if they do not seem to have the capacity, we must they take a wide range, either in large or small. Anyway they choose what shall be after the oral past.
that I'm very methodical, I first concentrated on writing and then I presented in tabular form with my criteria (good atmosphere, big or small promo, die by my own career plan ...) to make my choice. The important thing is whether their own criteria and not those around them. In Clermont otherwise, the exit so that the Incubator Project is like an incubator (one of my selection criteria). It's mission in this project during the first year to study the feasibility of a business in the economic, human, financial and legal. Involvement in the association is also very important although not mandatory, but I think that opens the mind and allows us to learn to work in groups. Besides, everything we do is in a group. We must prepare well during group Eco and quantitative methods (statistics =). In fact I am part of the relief association's Citizen of the school (environment, platelet donation, first aid training, captain tonight, fair trade). If you want to know what is done in details, I invite you to our site:

Grandidier (promo 2008) at the Ecole de Management de Grenoble
The pace is rather difficult to Grenoble! Contrary to many rumors, we do not do anything in business school! The days are very busy ... lot of work, especially in groups, but also staff, which often poses many problems timetable but is very rewarding. But even if the workload is high, the pressure is much slower than in preparation. By cons I am a little disappointed with the language course that I think are good enough (1:30 weekly English and German as much) and with rather low requirements (to say, almost every time I reach the 13 / 20 in German: a record after two years of preparation spent with Mr. Becker!). Regarding my personal background, I am project leader for the production of a documentary on sustainable development, which, again, takes me an enormous amount of time, but is really very interesting and will, hopefully, able to connect me with companies in this sector. I am also a candidate for six weeks starting in Munich this summer .. a program called "summer school" which offers courses at the Fachhochschule in Munich, visits to museums, factories BMW, Eurocopter, EADS, Sudeutsche Zeitung AUDI ... and so on, and some sports ... in short, a focused and remains attractive to a limited budget! Finally, what is the city of Grenoble in itself, I must confess that I do not always feel safe! You may have heard that Grenoble is since this year the most criminal city in France (yes, we beat Marseille!) And between the murders in the street or in the middle of the prison, there is nothing to worry about! But the hills are very pleasant and rather then I managed to retrieve my mare near Grenoble, which allows me to discover the massif of Chartreuse in peace!

For oral, aim wide, not having afraid to make a lot of schools (that will always remain a beautiful experience) even if it incurs costs. It should also be organized: put one or two smaller schools in the early to train, then schools and finally preferred schools that are moderately important because fatigue oral and parties (you must prepare for that too and enjoy it without distraction) is going to be felt. For the latest schools, it seems easier to put Ecricome that seem less interesting because there is a personality test Maintenance (Therefore not subject to prepare). Moreover Ecricome for languages, I hope you will go to Nancy since, particularly English, professors of Georges de la Tour have a very good reputation and it would be suicidal to question the methodology of the teachers before the examiner, as some have done. (Hint: the trip abroad that "counsels" el seƱor including Bowyer is the first answer to the question of the reviewer Nancy: "What have you done to move from theoretical to English English Practice. "I won five minutes to speak my trip, so he had to shorten my presentation of the text ... which can be advantageous when one has no plans to conclusion).
Regarding the choice of school, my tips are: do not rely solely on rankings to choose schools for their school and be wary of speech principals. For this we need to take some time to visit the school, talk to students and explore the city. However, we must say that today all seem happy alumni of the school they have choisie.Et me first! Bordeaux and his school fill me. If the plate provides practical information, some additions look interesting: BEM is a revolution and a lot of projects are being implemented (the first year divided into 5 sequences and thematic sessions are 5 partial making them shorter but more frequent; second year at the card with a choice of many modules), which sometimes leaves room for some small boondoggles, but overall the school is well managed. The school spirit is something very important and integration seminar a week, which takes place before classes start in a holiday village, allows welding individuals cope with adversity (especially during the night orienteering). Regarding the schedule, most courses are organized from Monday to Wednesday, who are rather busy three days, but it helps to establish a personal work and projects more concrete: besides the collaborative projects with business start virtually from the start (personally, I'm in a group that is studying the image of a theater in Bordeaux). Many activities are represented in the school which allowed me to continue judo and put me in rugby (I even started salsa classes).
