Standardization

The video shows in Charlotte Cornaton Rooms Part 4 explores the theme of the mask. This animated film hybrid materializes and denounces "the society of appearances" series of social codes that enclose the individual, behind which he hides his true feelings. Masks come alive and staged mix to bring the viewer face to appearances that society makes him take, but it also faces behind these appearances. This work, produced exclusively for the exhibition is accompanied by a ceramic sculpture of one of the masks imagined.
The neutral ceramic white mask (above), represents the trend towards uniformity of contemporary society and its facets. Subsequently first triptych represents the masks are worn: Belief / Force / Desire in opposition to the second triptych that symbolizes what is behind the mask: Submission / Repulsion / Melancholy . To end on a macabre medley.

is to demonstrate how a mask can apparently play a role through symbols, codes that govern our society today that tends to uniformity of individuals at the expense of individual freedom (of Society appearances). How the image takes precedence over the individual, will eat up, thinking to replace.
