ANGEL, Volume 2: Reptiles Anne Robillard

Even if sometimes I can not win a lack of time or for any other reasons that bothers me just as I always try to read the rest of the saga started. I put some times for months, even years, but I never despairs. It's still not my fault if there are as many good books to devour?
In the case of " ANGEL, Volume 2: Reptiles " Anne Robillard, I would not have been as long as that, fortunately (or not?)

Anne Robillard (born February 9, 1955) is a Quebec writer of fantasy.

eldest daughter of the ballet teacher Pierrette Gagne and the actor Jean-Claude Robillard, Robillard Anne grew up in the magical arts, but also in the insecurity of being an artist. While continuing to write stories straight out of her imagination, she opted for a more stable lifestyle. His salary legal secretary enabled him to continue studying literature and translation at the University of Montreal and continue composing.
fantasy and imagination have always been part of his writings. Teenager, she discovered the magical world of Tolkien (The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings), a kindred spirit who became something of a mentor. Even in its most dramatic texts, the supernatural has always found its place. Miraculous healing, reincarnation, the invisible, magic, fairies and knights are quickly becoming his favorite themes. But at the time, the public was not yet ready to enjoy his fantastic stories. She did not lose courage in so far and has continued to create wonderful worlds taking his friends and family away from their everyday reality.
The first volume of the Knights of Emerald is published by Editions de Mortagne in October 2002, quickly followed by several magical adventures of these soldiers. Twelve volumes were published. Anne Robillard has also written other novels including "Who is Terra Wilder? . In 2007, she began writing a new series, ANGEL, which currently has seven volumes.

Interviewed on the show `Everybody talks about the CBC, she explained how he came to his inspiration for the series of` Emerald Knights. She just met a main character in a dream of his novel that explained the outline of his fantastic adventures. She then embroidered around using his imagination to explore the psychology of his characters and their lives meaningless.

What I Think

me back into the plot was especially difficult because I just forget the characteristics of certain characters. Fortunately, it came back over the pages. a little reminder at the start of the work would have been a little more. I know that the author made an effort to evoke a few events that ended the first volume, but again, it especially on the characters that you get lost between two albums. there are so many alliances here and there, not to mention the different races (yuck, I hate to use such a term, but in this case, it is justified).

Otherwise, the writing of Anne Robillard is still fluid. We did not really feel like a young adult novel and it is significant.
be found in this second volume, all the elements already present in the first. If you've enjoyed, then it should logically also please you.

Indeed, we get some answers to questions were being asked quite logically, but others replace them. In short, everything leads us to the third volume due out in the next few months.

A small mention for coverage that is pleasing and does not really literature. One feels a desire to conquer a wider audience as possible without being too aggressive either.

Getting back to my impressions, I'm still a little disappointed and I was less enthralled than in my discovery of the saga. I have not had a bad time to read this second volume, but I think I'm missed something that I can not really put my finger on it.
A perceived lack, of unfinished business ...

My final score: 12 / 20
